I had a Deep Vein Thrombosis last January, and since then my left calf is larger than my right. I have muscular calves to begin with, and after the DVT there was simply no getting my left leg into several of my boots. I have used the stretcher on two pairs so far, and I can now wear those pairs of boots again- HOORAY!! Also, some of the reviews stated there weren't instructions, but the company must have fixed that, because mine came with easy to follow instructions. It's an investment for sure, but in my case, it was well worth it!!
