I purchased a beautiful pair of tall Taryn Rose Boots. The shaft needed to be stretched about 2 inches. I stretched it from a 15" to 17" with no problem. I purchased this Cast Aluminum Shaft Stretcher and it really worked. I use stretching spray and left the shaft shretcher on for 48 hours. It really works. You have to purchase stretching spray to use along with this shaft stretcher. I am so glad I purchased this. I am sure I can use it on other boots that I buy since I have larger calves.

I don't have particularly large calves but many knee-high boots have challenged me and the instep has sometimes been a lot of work to get through. This instep and shaft stretcher has finally given me the level of ease and comfort I've always wanted to wear my high boots comfortably with little effort in getting them on!
Yes, it's a little expensive but the quality is top notch. Once you see this product, you'll know you've got something that will not only do the job, but will keep doing it for a long long time. This is built to last.
Additionally, the customer service from Shoe and Foot Care is wonderful. They went above and beyond to help me and I'm already looking at more of their products to order.

I have large calfs and wear western boots most all the time. The tops of the boots have always been a problem....i.e., having to split the top. This stretcher is terrific and extremely well made and durable. I don't have to split the tops of my boots any more...I can stretch them without ruining my tops. Thanks guys!!
