I have 4 pairs of this model for my dress shoes for work. I rotate my shoes and generally wear 1 pair once per week (which indicates usage) Pros: great shape for dress shoes and keeps your shoes oder free and maintain their shape Cons: had one break after a little more less than a year of use. The internals are nailed in so not very easy to repair if you were going to go down that road.

I wasn't aware of cedar tree inserts until I bought my last pair of nice work shoes. These guys keep your shoe shaped, crease and crack free and absorb moisture... which may cause bad odors. These trees from Woodlore are well made, great smelling shoe inserts. The shoe is spring loaded and has an attractive brass knob as a handle. I ordered four pair at once and none of the trees had any manufacturing issues or flaws.
